Ballydonoghue U-15s are for the third year in a row heading to the
County finals next Thursday evening in Tralee as North Kerry
Champions. They had to overcome a tough challenge from St.Senans to
reach the final where they played near neighbours listowel Emmets in the
Duagh GAA pitch on Saturday morning last. The form book would suggest
that Emmets would be favourites to clinch this one as this age group in
Ballydonoghue had struggled to win any silverware to date having lost
three finals at U-14 last year, that made this victory all the more
sweeter. As in all finals there was no quarter given but the sheer
determination and will to win by the Ballydonoghue boys was enough to
get them over the line on a score line of Listowel Emmets 2-07
Ballydonoghue 3-09.We want to wish the follwing panel of players and
mentors the best of luck in the County Finals next Thursday time and
venue (TBC)

The Semi Finals and Final of the Kerry U 15 Super Touch football took place last Thursday night 17th October in Tralee.
In their semi final Ballydonoghue had a comprehensive win over Annascaul/Lispole on a score line Ballydonoghue (8-15) Firies (4-11). Final Ballydonoghue (6-11) Dr.Crokes ((9-10)
In the final we faced Dr. Crokes who had defeated Na Gaeil in the other semi-final. What a great final it turned out to be played at exhilarating pace with some fantastic scores being taken. Crokes had the better of the early exchanges but we came back into the game with Jack Behan and Cian OâMahony goals. A late goal in the final seconds of the half left the score Bally/don (3-7) Dr. Crokes (4-8) at half time. It was hammer and tongs all through the second half with neither side giving an inch. But in the end there had to be a winner and it was Dr.Crokes with two late goals that finally broke clear. But we lost nothing in defeat and for an incredible second year in a row we just lost out at the final hurdle.
Panel: John Scully, Joseph Lynch, Daniel Power, Donal Doyle, Stephen Mason, Micheal Foley, Jack Behan, Michael Dee, Liam Kissane, Cian Mahony, Brian Mason Michael Gogarty, Paddy Kissane.
Mentors PJ Foley, Denis Lynch, Michael Mason and Martin Sheehy.
